Graduating Letran, Benilde, San Beda players lead PBA Draft applicants
Senior players and alumni from Colegio de San Juan de Letran, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, and San Beda University banner the list of 128 hopefuls who have declared for the PBA Season 50 Rookie Draft.
The draft is set for September 7.
Graduating players Mark Denver Omega, Deo Cuajao, and Jun Roque have submitted their applications, joining fellow Letranites Kobe Monje, Kyle Tolentino, Kint Ariar, and Ira Bataller.
Tony Ynot, Shawn Umali, Gab Cometa, and Jake Gaspay have also entered the draft, alongside NCAA Season 98 Most Valuable Player Will Gozum and fellow former Blazers Robi Nayve, Mark Sangco, Ladis Lepalam, and Macoy Marcos.
San Beda players Yukien Andrada, Joe Celzo, and Bryan Sajonia are likewise in the mix, along with former Red Lion Josh Tagala.
Current NCAA players who have declared include Lyceum of the Philippines University's John Barba and University of Perpetual Help System DALTA's Cedrick Abis.
They join the likes of Juan Gomez de Liaño and Jason Brickman in hopes of entering the league in its golden season.
The official list of draft applicants will be finalized once all requirements have been submitted.
