Adamson notches second win, keeps UE winless as UAAP returns to Blue Eagle Gym

Adamson University notched its second win of the season, 77-62, at the expense of the University of the East in the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament, as the league returned to the Blue Eagle Gym in Quezon City after two decades.

The Soaring Falcons built a commanding 45-25 lead by halftime before UE outscored them, 33-12, in the third quarter to take a brief 58-57 advantage.

However, Adamson clamped down on defense in the fourth, limiting UE to just four points to seal the victory.

Ray Allen Torres led Adamson with 16 points, including three triples, while Earl Medina added 15 points as the Falcons improved to 2-4.

John Abate paced UE with 17 points, while DJ Robles chipped in 14. Precious Momowei grabbed 18 rebounds and scored seven points, but the Red Warriors remained winless in five games.
