PBA: NLEX snaps Rain or Shine’s four-game win streak

NLEX returned to its winning ways after defeating Rain or Shine, 105–91, in the PBA Philippine Cup on Saturday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

The victory came after the Road Warriors’ loss to Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and ended Rain or Shine’s four-game winning streak.

After holding a 52–47 lead at halftime, NLEX broke the game open in the third quarter, outscoring the Elasto Painters, 31–16, to build an 83–63 advantage—enough cushion to hold on until the final buzzer.

Robert Bolick led the Road Warriors with 28 points, six rebounds, five assists, and a steal, while JB Bahio posted a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds. Xyrus Torres added 15 points, while Jonnel Policarpio and Dominick Fajardo chipped in 10 points each.

Jhonard Clarito paced Rain or Shine with 26 points, while Gabe Norwood and Adrian Nocum contributed 12 points apiece. Santi Santillan added 10 markers.

Both teams now sport identical 5–2 records in the standings.
