Ateneo de Davao to name covered court after Rene Baterbonia

Ateneo de Davao University will name one of its covered courts after the late basketball player Rene Baterbonia.

Baterbonia died alongside Divine Adili during Ateneo de Manila University's teambuilding activity last Monday.

University president Fr. Karel San Juan SJ made the announcement on Sunday, the final day of Baterbonia's wake at the school, according to a report by Super Radyo Davao.

Ateneo de Davao also previously said it would grant scholarships to Baterbonia's siblings.

Baterbonia played for Ateneo de Davao during his high school years.

His remains will be brought to his hometown in Agusan del Sur.
