Fajardo, Bolick, Gomez de Liaño lead PBA Season 50 MVP race after two conferences

June Mar Fajardo of San Miguel Beer, Robert Bolick of NLEX, and rookie Juan Gomez de Liaño of Converge lead the statistical points (SPs) race for the PBA Season 50 Most Valuable Player award after two conferences.

Fajardo tops the list with 29.8 SPs behind averages of 17.0 points, 16.1 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game.

Bolick is second with 26.7 SPs after posting 19.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, while Gomez de Liaño ranks third with 23.6 SPs on averages of 17.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.0 steal.

Magnolia's Zav Lucero (23.3 SPs) and Converge's Justine Baltazar (23.2 SPs) round out the top five.

In the Rookie of the Year race, Gomez de Liaño also leads, followed by Terrafirma's JM Bravo (12.4 SPs), Magnolia's Chris Koon (9.3 SPs), and Blackwater's James Una (8.1 SPs).

The PBA Governors' Cup opens on Friday.
