Chog Moral, Patrick Pasinos headline Gilas Boys for FIBA U18 Asia Cup

Rising stars Chog Moral and Patrick Pasinos will once again lead the way as Gilas Pilipinas Boys head to Ahmedabad, India for the 2026 FIBA U18 Asia Cup set from August 13 to 23.

Moral and Pasinos banner the 12-man roster alongside holdovers Ethan Aguas, JB Cagurungan, Prince Cariño, Andrew Chio, and Bruce Tubongbanua. Luke Atacador, Elias Gish, Aidan Green, Jacob Lacson, and Sizco Roquid round out the lineup.

Gilas Boys, who qualified to the Asia Cup by reaching---and eventually ruling--- the SEABA Qualifiers last June, are bunched with defending champion Australia, Chinese Taipei, and Thailand in Group A, where they will play in a single-round robin.

Top team in each group will secure an outright quarterfinals berth while the second and third seeds will play in the playoffs for the quarterfinals.

Gilas Pilipinas Boys are looking to bounce back from an early exit in the 2024 edition, where they lost to Japan in the playoffs to bow out of contention.

Gilas will open its campaign on Thursday against Chinese Taipei before facing powerhouse Australian on Saturday and Thailand on Monday, August 17.
