Pacquiao's third fight with Marquez is personal
Don't blame Manny Pacquiao if he is taking his third meeting with Mexican rival Juan Manuel Marquez a little bit personal. "It is like he is insulting my manhood," said Pacquiao after ending his Friday training at the Wild Card gym in Hollywood, California almost a week before he finally comes face-to-face with Marquez in the ring again. The world's top pound-for-pound fighter is obviously ranting about the claims of the 38-year-old Marquez that he won the two previous fights he had with Pacquiao. For the record, Pacquiao and Marquez drew their first encounter in 2004 in a match that saw the Filipino brown bomber dropping the Mexican to the canvas thrice in a blazing opening round. Their 2008 rematch had Pacquiao escaping with a 12-round split decision after scoring another third-round knockdown. "That is why I don't talk too much and just show what I am capable of inside the ring," said Pacquiao. Pacquiao is more than eager to settle his unfinished business with Marquez that he's training like hell even with the fight just around the corner. "I am seriously motivated for the fight. I want to train harder as the fight nears," he said. "I am really excited and ready for the fight." â JVP, GMA News
