Nonito Donaire Jr. and Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. both made the 122-pound limit for their scheduled 12-round clash for the vacant World Boxing Organization (WBO) super bantamweight title on Saturday (Sunday in Manila).   The Filipino-American boxer, who moved up in weight after a four-year reign in two other divisions, tipped the scales at 121.6lbs while his Puerto Rican opponent weighed in at exactly 122lbs.   Donaire (27-1, with 18 knockouts) hopes to win his third world title against Vazquez (21-1-1, 18 KOs). The fight will be held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.   The Filipino Flash, a native of Talibon, Bohol province, previously held the International Boxing Federation (IBF) flyweight title and the WBO and World Boxing Council (WBC) bantamweight belts.   This is Donaire’s debut fight in the 122-lb division, more than three months after scoring a unanimous decision win over Argentine challenger Omar Andres Narvaez at the Madison Square Garden in New York City. — JVP, GMA News
