For Pacquiao, to rise again means fighting again
When Manny Pacquiao says, "We'll rise again," he means shaking off his disappointing sixth round KO loss to Juan Manuel Marquez, getting back into the ring, and this time, emerging triumphant.
Pacquiao told a gathered crowd that had assembled at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport for his arrival, "Talagang ganoon ang buhay natin. We'll rise again," and got loud cheers in response.
Then later in an interview on GMA News TV's 'News to Go,' Pacquiao clarified what he meant by 'rise again,' telling Kara David, "Lalaban pa tayo. Sa ngayon, papahinga muna. Pagdating ng ilan buwan, saka tayo balik-ensayo."
"So lalaban ulit. Makikita natin ulit sa ring si Pac-man?" David asked in a follow-up.
"Yes, yes." Pacquiao answered.
Pacquio had been slated to take on Brandon Rios on April 20, but he needed to beat Marquez to set the wheels for that fight in motion. Rios will now likely take on Mike Alvarado, Lance Pugmire of the LA Times tweeted out.
Arum said the #pacMarquez outcome likely moves @brandon_rios1 into a rematch in March against Mike Alvarado. #boxing

In another Pugmire report, Marquez's promoter, Fernando Beltran, said, "He [Marquez] said he'd go to the Philippines to fight Manny."
Top Rank CEO Bob Arum however, didn't think that it would happen anytime soon though, saying "No. 5 is now the biggest fight in boxing, bigger than Pacquiao-Mayweather. The idea we'd be ready to fight April 20 is ludicrous."
Arum also noted that he does not plan to talk to the two fighters about fight number five "until the new year." - AMD, GMA News
