Pacquiao-Marquez V tops RingTV.com poll of anticipated fights in 2013

When Pacquiao-Marquez IV was announced, it was a fight largely met with indifference by fans, many of whom said they were tired of that match-up, after seeing it the previous three times. For Pacquiao-Marquez V though, things have gone the opposite direction. A RingTV.com poll asking fans "What fight would most like to see made in 2013?" garnered more than 20,000 responses, with Pacquiao-Marquez V getting 29.9 percent of the vote, the site announced Tuesday (Wednesday, PHL time). Last December, Marquez finally got a win over his arch-rival in stunning fashion, KO-ing Pacquiao in the sixth round, in one of the most talked about fights in 2012. Reports say that the two will have a tune-up bout sometime in April, before the actual rematch come September, although nothing has been confirmed yet. Another Filipino fighter, Nonito Donaire, got 13.7 percent for a match between him and Abner Mares. The rest of the choices each got less than four percent. - AMD, GMA News
