Pacquiao fan sports knockout Pac-man haircut days before match  

With Pacquiao fever gripping the nation just days before the boxing icon and Sarangani Rep. Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao faces Timothy Bradley Jr. anew, one of his fans has come up with the ultimate tribute - a haircut in the shape of the Pac-man.

Boxing aficionado and Pacquiao fan Jonas Esguerra now has Pacquiao's image at the back of his head, courtesy of barber Neshell Dacalos, Balitang Pilipinas reported.

"Tinitigan ko muna ang picture. Bago ko 'to iginuhit tiningnan ko muna 'to bago matulog. Saan ako magsisimula dahil hindi yan pwedeng dire-diretso. Kailangan ng plano," Dacalos told GMA Cebu.

For his part, Esguerra said this was his way of showing support for Pacquiao, who faces Timothy Bradley Jr. in Las Vegas this Saturday (Sunday, PHL time).

"It's good, it looks very good," Esguerra said of his unique haircut, which gave him a celebrity status of sorts in his neighborhood, GMA Cebu's Vic Serna reported.

Pacquiao and Bradley will have their weigh-in on Friday (Saturday, PHL time).

The Filipino boxing champ arrived in Las Vegas earlier this week and got a warm welcome from the Filipino community there.

Not the first time

It was not the first time Pacquiao fans got - or gave - a Pac-man haircut to show their support for their idol.

Stylist and Pacquiao fan Chris Eliares said he had demonstrated a Pacquiao haircut to a class he was invited to teach in California in November 2013.
 

In YouTube videos, Eliares did the hair portrait days before Pacquiao faced Brandon Rios - and shortly after super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) devastated the Visayas.
