Algieri admits: Pacquiao still has fire in his eyes

 

Apart from height and reach, one of Chris Algieri's advantages over Manny Pacquiao is their significant age difference.

 

With Pacquiao turning 36 years old this year, observers say that the Filipino fight icon is past his physical prime and is near the end of his legendary career.

 

Five years younger at 30, Algieri begs to differ with the observation.

 

"I looked him in his eyes and he still had fire in his eyes," Algieri told Boxingscene.com.

 

"He's not an old man. He's here to fight."
