Pacquiao's 300-strong entourage: Family, friends, teammates, even Mommy D's boyfriend

Manny Pacquiao chartered two flights to Macau for some 300 people to be part of his entourage for his November 23 fight against Chris Algieri at The Venetian.

 

According to a report on "24 Oras" on Tuesday, Pacquiao will shoulder all the expenses for his guests, which include family, friends, and various supporters.

 

This will include members of the Kia Sorento, the PBA expansion team where Pacquiao serves as playing coach. Because of his busy schedule preparing for the fight, Pacquiao has missed the team's last six games — all losses. The team's lone victory came in its PBA debut, which saw Pacquiao start for the squad.

 

Also part of the entourage will be Michael Yamson, the boyfriend of Pacquiao's mother Dionesia.

 

"First time niya nanood sa laban na live," said the lady more popularly known as Mommy D. According to her, it will be the last opportunity for Yamson to spend time with the family before going abroad for work in January.

 

This fight will also mark the first time that all five Pacquiao children — Emmanuel Jr. "Jimuel", Michael, Princess, Queen Elizabeth "Queenie," and Israel — will be making the trip for their father's fight. — JST, GMA News
