After beating Algieri, Pacquiao tells Mayweather: 'I'm ready to fight'

Bring it on.

That was Manny Pacquiao's message for Floyd Mayweather shortly after dispatching Chris Algieri on Sunday in Macau.

After years of frustration in making a fight between the two top fighters in the world, there was some light earlier this week after news leaked out that Mayweather was finally open to a fight, according to his network Showtime. No less than CBS Corporation CEO and president Les Moonves is reportedly spearheading the negotiations to make the fight happen.

With Algieri hurdled, Pacquiao is now setting his sights on Mayweather.

"I think I'm ready to fight next year for him," said Pacquiao after his dominant victory, which saw him send Algieri to the canvas six times.

But before answering the question, Pacquiao saw it fit to poke some fun at Mayweather.

"He's going to fight me?!" he asked the television interviewer, a reference to his recent comedic ad for Foot Locker which poked some fun at Mayweather. — JST, GMA News
