Juan Manuel Marquez joins calls for Mayweather to fight Pacquiao

You can add Juan Manuel Marquez to the list of countless people craving to see Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather go at it.

 

"As a fan, I think the fight should get done and they need to stop the bickering over who wants to earn more than the other," Marquez, Pacquiao's longtime archrival who once also fought Mayweather, told ESPN Deportes.

 

Negotiations for the most-awaited boxing showdown between Mayweather and Pacquiao broke down over the years. But for Marquez, all the off-ring issues should take a backseat.

 

"The most important thing here is that the fight is carried out and stop talking about nonsense and give the fans what they want — the fight."

 

Who will emerge victorious between Pacquiao and Mayweather inside the ring has been a hot topic of debate over the years. For Marquez, the only way to find out is for both fighters to duke it out.
