Floyd Mayweather 'in shock' after witnessing friend's murder-suicide

Pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather was a witness to a murder-suicide on Monday involving rapper Earl Hayes, various American news sources reported.

The 37-year-old fighter was reportedly speaking to Hayes over FaceTime, with the rapper venting over his wife's infidelity.

Reports further indicate that Hayes threatened to kill his wife, with Mayweather pleading with his friend not to do it.

Hayes then pulled a gun to shoot his wife before ending his own life.

Mayweather, for his part, acknowledges that he was a witness, but wouldn't reveal how much he saw or heard.

According to TMZ.com, "Floyd is in shock and is having extreme difficulty dealing with the fact that he witnessed a horrifying murder/suicide." — JST, GMA News
