Mayweather's dad takes another shot at Pacquiao, hints Manny used drugs anew
By JM SIASAT
Floyd Mayweather's father and trainer Floyd Sr. once again took verbal shots at Manny Pacquiao, once again hinting that the Filipino ring icon has used performance enhancing drugs.
This comes amid news that Pacquiao has agreed to the terms of a fight with Floyd Jr.
It isn't the first time the elder Mayweather has made comments about Pacquiao's supposed drug use. The father and son, as well as Floyd Sr.'s brother Roger, were haled to court by Pacquiao for their comments.
The two camps eventually reached an out of court settlement in 2012, with the Mayweathers having to pay for damages.
"A lot of people might think he's a great fighter. He did all of those knockouts. For some reason or another, I went to court for that. I had a reason on why I went to court. Now why all of a sudden, after I went to court, he hasn't knocked anybody out in five years," Floyd Sr. told Boxingscene.com.
"C'mon man. He was knocking everybody out. Every time he touched them they're gone. Now all of a sudden the last guy was an amateur and he couldn't even knock him out. Algieri was an amateur. I'm just saying, in a manner of speaking, he fought just like an amateur and [Pacquiao] couldn't knock him out. He knocked him down. He knocked him down six times and still couldn't get him out. C'mon man it's a joke." —JST, GMA News
