Pacquiao excited for red carpet press conference for Mayweather fight

Even Manny Pacquiao admits that he's excited to attend the red carpet press conference for his fight against Floyd Mayweather.

 

"First time 'ata ito sa history ng boxing na parang Grammy Award, may red carpet," Pacquiao told GMA News' Connie Sison.

 

The event will be held at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday (early Thursday PHL time). The venue is a popular choice to host award shows, having been a regular host of the ESPY Awards, the American Music Awards, and the People's Choice Awards.

 

It will be the lone press event for the two fighters before the week of their fight on May 2 in Las Vegas.

 

Pacquiao revealed that will be wearing a multi-million peso designer suit for the occasion.

 

"Ginamit ko 'to as judge nung Miss Universe," he said.

 

His ride to the event, however, remains up in the air. Pacquiao is mulling whether to go in his Ferrari or Mercedez Benz, or if he should just take a limousine ride. —JST, GMA News
