WATCH: Pacquiao official music video for bout vs. Mayweather goes viral

With just two weeks to go before he faces Floyd Mayweather Jr. for the much anticipated fight, Filipino boxing champ and Sarangani Rep. Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao on Monday posted online a four-minute video dedicating his bout to the Filipino people.

 

Pacquiao posted the music video, which he had personally directed, on his Facebook page early Monday (PHL time).

 

As of 10:30 a.m. Monday, Pacquiao's video was viewed 444,589 times and liked 33,136 times on Facebook.

 

 

The video "Lalaban Ako Para sa Filipino" featured shots of Pacquiao in his past bouts and his training for the May 2 bout with Mayweather.

 

It also featured shots of poor Filipinos and those affected by recent calamities - along with footage of Pacquiao bleeding during some of his past bouts.

 

Also, Pacquiao sang about his heart bleeding for poor and marginalized Filipinos, and that he is dedicating his fight to them. — Joel Locsin/RSJ, GMA News
