LOOK: Photo of Pacquiao lookalike Mexican revolutionary goes viral

Despite being labeled a Mexicutioner early in his career, Manny Pacquiao has carved out a niche among hardcore Mexican boxing fans for his relentless style inside the ring.

Which is why it comes as little surprise that a photo of a Mexican revolutionary who looks like Pacquiao has gone viral days before the Filipino ring icon's mega-fight against Floyd Mayweather.

A post on the Facebok page of Mexican band Seis Pistos has spread like wildfire, having been shared more than 46,000 times.

"Besides being a boxer, Manny Pacquiao also participated in the Mexican revolution," read the post in Spanish.

Early in his career, Pacquiao engaged in epic battles against Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, and Juan Manuel Marquez, dubbed as the "Holy Trinity" of this generation of Mexican fighters. -- JST, GMA News
