WATCH: Ronda Rousey beats Mayweather for 'Best Fighter' at ESPYs, taunts Floyd
After winning the "Best Fighter" award at the ESPYs on Thursday over Floyd Mayweather, mixed martial arts superstar Ronda Rousey went in for the verbal knockout.
The UFC women's champion took a shot at Mayweather's record of domestic abuse. "I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once," Rousey told ESPN anchors at the event's red carpet. Mayweather was convicted in 2011 for beating up his ex-girlfriend Josie Harris.
Mayweather figured in the richest fight in boxing history last May, when he defeated Manny Pacquiao. But that wasn't enough to win him the fan voting against the popular Rousey, who has crossed over into mainstream stardom, starring in a couple of movies.
