Crawford can beat Pacquiao, Khan cannot - Floyd Sr

Floyd Mayweather's outspoken father and trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. believes that Manny Pacquiao could retire with a win or a loss depending on who the Filipino picks for his final ring appearance.

Pacquiao, 36, is eyeing a farewell bout in the first quarter of 2016 before he finally calls it a day in professional prizefighting. Two of the names in the Pacquiao sweepstakes are Terence Crawford and Amir Khan.

"I think Crawford can beat Pacquiao," Mayweather Sr. told ontheropesboxing.com.

"Amir Khan’s got a glass jaw, if you look at him too long, he’s gonna fall down. We’ll see, but if Pacquiao hits Amir Khan good, Amir Khan’s gone."

Pacquiao's old foe Timothy Bradley recently stated as well that the unbeaten Crawford (27-0, 19KOs) is capable of beating the Filipino ring icon. In a separate report by ESPN, Bob Arum quipped that Pacquiao is due to pick an opponent this week. - RAF, GMA News
