Peñalosa sees 'same result' for third Pacquiao-Bradley fight

Retired Filipino two-division world champion Gerry Peñalosa predicts that the upcoming fight between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley would be similar to their first two fights.

Despite dominating the action in the first fight, Pacquiao lost to Bradley by a highly-controversial split decision in 2012. The Filipino ring icon avenged that defeat in 2014.

In what he says is the final fight of his legendary boxing career, Pacquiao is slated to duke it out with Bradley for the third time on April 9 (April 10 PHL time) at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

"Pacquiao vs. Bradley 3 would have the same result. What happened in the first two fights, it's gonna be the same — Pacquiao will only beat him up," Peñalosa told GMA News Online.

"Manny has the speed and power advantage. Manny could [win by knockout] if he's truly focused and prepared for the fight. Manny really packs a punch to begin with, and he has twelve rounds to land that one big punch."

For Peñalosa, Pacquiao's victory is in the bag, and the only thing that remains to be seen is how the Filipino ring icon would end contest.
