Pacquiao expects ‘action-packed’ 3rd match with Bradley
Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao said he expects an action-packed and more exciting fight as he faces for the third time Timothy Bradley Jr. at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on April 9 (April 10 in Manila).
“Mas maraming aksyon, dahil may bago siyang trainer at ang style ay body puncher. I’m sure na hindi na masyadong takbo nang takbo kundi pasok na nang pasok,” Pacquiao said, predicting Bradley's possible way of attack on their most-anticipated rematch.
Pacquiao’s coach, Freddie Roach, said he is also hoping Bradley would be more aggressive in the upcoming fight.
“I hope he’s a little more aggressive and tries to fight a little bit more,” Roach said.
Meanwhile, Pacquiao spent the weekend by training with his sparring partner, Mani Maduma.
Maduma believes Pacquiao is now ready for the weekend face off with Bradley.
“Everything is in place, we are just waiting for the fight. His footwork, his speed, his timing, his power—everything is ready,” Pacquiao’s sparmate said.
Pacquiao will face Bradley for the third time this coming Sunday.
The American boxer won the first bout, however, with controversies.
The World Boxing Organization ordered a video review of the fight and all five judges unanimously declared Pacquiao as the winner.
