Pacquiao-Bradley 3 a PPV flop —report

From the moment it was announced up to its fight night, reception for the third showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley was lukewarm at most.

Thousands of tickets remained unsold minutes before Pacquiao and Bradley climbed atop the ring to start their 25th round.

But the fight's disappointing numbers doesn't stop there, as Los Angeles Times reports that the bout only did a "hair over" 400,000 pay-per-view buys according to Top Rank head honcho, Bob Arum.

Prior to the Bradley fight, Pacquiao, together with Floyd Mayweather, broke financial records in boxing history in their not so exciting twelve-round contest last year.

While the numbers lived up to the hype, fans all over the globe were left disappointed due to the much-awaited fight's lack of action.

Mayweather fought Andre Berto later that year which also generated underwhelming numbers, leaving many observers to believe that Pacquiao vs. Mayweather had left a bad taste in the mouth in boxing's market. —JM Siasat/JST, GMA News
