Pinoy fighter Inson KO’d in 2nd round of Pacquiao undercard

Filipino fighter JayAr Inson failed to take advantage of the spotlight in the undercard of the Manny Pacquiao-Keith Thurman fight on Saturday (Sunday morning PHL time).

The Davao native was knocked out in the second round by Kazakh contender Sergey Lipinets. A left hook from Lipinets meant lights out for Inson, who took the fight on short notice, with 57 seconds left in the round.

Lipinets, who was originally scheduled to fight John Molina, Jr., improved to 16-1 with 12 KOs. Inson, a member of Pacquiao’s MP Promotions stable, dropped to 18-3. --JST, GMA News
