John Riel Casimero willing to fly to Japan for bout vs Naoya Inoue
John Riel Casimero is raring to get back into the ring after his bout against Naoya Inoue was postponed due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
The two were supposed to fight in Las Vegas on April 25, but Top Rank Promotions has yet to announce whether the match will still push through.
According to Chino Trinidad's report for "24 Oras," Top Rank CEO Bob Arum is going to decide about the fate of the bout this week.
"Kung ano 'yung decision nila, kung ako 'yung tatawid dun sa Japan, walang problema sa akin. Ok ako kahit sa bahay pa nila, ok ako diyan," said the WBO bantamweight world champion.

Arum earlier said they tried having Casimero, who is in Las Vegas, fly to Japan but the arrangement did not work out.
Casimero, meanwhile, said is ready for anything. The Pinoy boxer said he could beat anyone as long as he would prepare properly.
But the undefeated Inoue, who holds a 19-0 win-loss record with 16 knockouts, is not going to be an easy foe for the Pinoy boxer.
Currently, however, Casimero is facing a different but no less difficult enemy: homesickness.
"Pag nandito ka parang wala kang lakas ng loob. Ang dami mong iniisip e, lalo na ngayon pandemic tayo na COVID-19," he said. "Hindi natin alam kung 'yung pamilya natin mag-ano o tayo ba. Pahirap talaga. Mas maganda talaga kasama mo pamilya mo." —MGP, GMA News
