Floyd Mayweather teases another partnership with Rizin in shadowboxing video

Retired five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. has teased another round of partnership with Japanese promotion Rizin.

It can be remembered that the now 43-year-old prizefighter did a match with Japanese kickboxing sensation Tenshin Nasukawa in the main event of Rizin 14 in Dec. 31, 2018.

What was supposed to be an exhibition match for three rounds quickly turned out to be a Mayweather showcase after he sent the featherweight kickboxer flying to the canvas thrice en route to a technical knockout in the first round.

More than a year later, Mayweather stated on social media that he is flying back to Tokyo later this year to have a hold a meeting with his Asian counterparts.

Mayweather retired from boxing with an unbeaten record of 50-0 with 27 knockouts. He last competed in a twelve-rounder against former UFC featherweight and lightweight world champion Conor McGregor in 2017 where he won via tenth-round technical knockout. – JM Siasat/RC, GMA News
