Mayweather vs. Paul exhibition rules revealed: No winner will be announced - report

Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Logan Paul

Former five-division champion Floyd Mayweather and YouTuber Logan Paul can beat each other up for all they want, but there would not be a winner in the upcoming fight according to ESPN.

The pair is scheduled to lock horns in a three-minute, eight-round exhibition on June 6 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida, USA.

According to a spokesperson for Florida's Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Mayweather and Paul will not use a head protector but will have to wear 10-ounce gloves for the fight.

And even though a knockout is allowed, a winner will not be declared as there will be no judges for the bout either.

Additionally, Paul has to weigh in at 190 pounds at most or face a $100,000 fine for every pound over.

The 44-year-old Mayweather, touted as one of the greatest boxers ever, retired in 2017 with a perfect record of 50-0 with 27 knockouts while Paul is 0-1 as a pro boxer. -- BAP, GMA News
