Floyd Mayweather is 'The Best Ever Clown' for fighting Logan Paul, says Chino Trinidad

Veteran broadcaster and sports analyst Chino Trinidad held nothing back when asked about the recently concluded exhibition between former five-division champion Floyd Mayweather and YouTuber Logan Paul.

The pair fought for eight rounds on Sunday but no winner was declared after the contest since it was merely an exhibition. According to Trinidad, fans who bought the $49.99 pay-per-view were taken for a ride.

"We knew from the very beginning that it was an exhibition, that there would be no winner. As long as people are fooled this would continue. Even Mayweather himself admitted it was a heist, easy money," Trinidad told GMA News Online in Filipino.

The respected Filipino sports journalist also believes that having YouTubers in the sport of boxing do more harm than good.

As for Mayweather, who likes to brand himself as TBE or The Best Ever, Trinidad said that the exhibition was an insult to his legacy.

"Floyd Mayweather says he is TBE, the best ever," he said. "Okay go take it, eat your the best ever, and bring it to your grave. But what are you? The best ever clown."

"He said, 'I am not YouTuber, I do this for a living.' But he still fought [Paul]. Now, who is stupid? It is all because of the money."
