Pacquiao works on speed and precision on Week 2 Day 2 of LA training camp
Eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao is working on his speed and precision on Week 2 Day of his training camp at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles, California.
The 42-year-old is slated to face WBC and IBF world welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. on August 21 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, USA.
The Filipino boxing icon initially opened as a huge underdog against Spence but those numbers have started to dwindle since he arrived in America last week.
Pacquiao has also started sparring with lefties last week and was quickly given rave reviews by his sparring partners.
“He was sharp, elusive, and unpredictable,” said his sparring partner Maurice Lee, who holds a pro record of 12-1-2 with 5 knockouts.
“Videotape does not prepare you for his speed and the angles he fights from.”
