Manny Pacquiao tweets support for Eumir Marcial after sure medal finish in Tokyo

A legend supporting one in the making.

Manny Pacquiao took to Twitter to show his support to Eumir Marcial, who on Sunday punched his way to the semifinals round of the Tokyo Olympics boxing tournament.

With the win, Marcial is guaranteed to take home at least a bronze medal which hikes the country's medal tally to three.

And Pacquiao, the only eight-division world boxing champion, is rallying behind Marcial.

In 2020, Marcial turned professional after signing a deal with the Manny Pacquiao (MP) Promotions.

The 25-year-old pugilist also spent time last year training at the Wild Card Gym with Hall-of-Fame trainer Freddie Roach, who steered Pacquiao to a host of titles in the past years.
