Nesthy Petecio receives her Olympic silver medal

Nesthy Petecio put up a gallant stand in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics women's featherweight finals against Japanese hometown bet Sena Irie on Tuesday.

Despite barely coming up short in a close match, Petecio will close her campaign with a silver medal - matching the highest-ever finish of any Filipino boxer in the history of the Olympics so far.

She received her silver medal in the medal ceremony a few minutes after her match.
