Olympic medalists Petecio, Paalam, Marcial, on the way home after successful Tokyo campaign

Three more Olympic medals are on the way home to the Philippines.

Philippine boxers Nesthy Petecio, Carlo Paalam, and Eumir Marcial are bound for Manila after their successful campaign in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Sen. Francis Tolentino, brother of Philippine Olympic Committee president and Rep. Bambol Tolentino, shared a photo of the team aboard the Philippine Airlines flight expected to arrive Monday afternoon.

The flag carrier also shared some of their photos when they were in the Narita Airport.

Irish Magno, the first Filipina boxer to qualify for the Olympics, is also going home.

The Philippine boxing team won three of the country's four medals in the Tokyo Games. Petecio and Paalam bagged silver medals while Marcial had a bronze.

The Philippines finished 50th overall, tied with Slovenia, at the end of the Summer Games.
