Pacquiao, Ugas make weight ahead of bout

Manny Pacquiao and Yordenis Ugas both made the required weight during their weigh-in on Saturday (Manila time), a day before their scheduled bout in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pacquiao weighed 146 lbs while Ugas weighed 147 lbs, according to a report of GMA News stringer Jay Otamias on Super Radyo dzBB.

The two boxers are set to face each other on Sunday morning (Manila time) for the WBA Welterweight Championship at the T-Mobile Arena that has a capacity of 17,000.

During the weigh-in, fans of the duo were not allowed to enter the venue. Only media practitioners were present to witness the event.

It was also reported that wearing of face masks is required of spectators of the much anticipated bout conducted amid the COVID-19 pandemic. —BAP,/KG GMA News
