YouTube star Money Kicks will try to KO Floyd Mayweather if prospective fight comes to fruition
YouTube sensation Rashed "Money Kicks" Belhasa vowed that he will try to go for a knockout if his prospective exhibition against retired five-division champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. comes to fruition.
Several reports indicate that the two are on a collision course for a boxing exhibition in February at the rooftop of Burj Al Arab Jumeirah hotel in Dubai.
Money Kicks is the son of a billionaire, Saif Belhasa, but he thinks he is up for the challenge.
“I grew up with lions. I am not scared of any human being. I will never fear any human. I never thought I would ever fight Floyd. He is the best fighter ever. When I was young, I would collect his The Money Team caps,” Belhasa said in an interview with Sky Sports.
“Mayweather's team asked my team for a meeting. The same day of the meeting, I saw Mayweather saying, 'I would love to fight Rashed.' He is serious. It is an honor that he has called me out,” he added.
“I won't lie to myself. Entering the ring with him is an honor. I will try my best. You never know...any punch can land and I have heavy hands. If he underestimates me? A punch can come. Anything can happen.”
Belhasa also took some pointers from his fellow Youtuber Logan Paul, whom Mayweather fought in an exhibition last June 2021 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida, USA. According to Belhasa, his height could be key to pulling off a stoppage aginst Mayweather, something that no boxer has ever done before.
