Confrontation breaks out as Jerwin Ancajas drops sparring partner

A confrontation broke out in the gym when reigning IBF world super flyweight champion Jerwin Ancajas dropped his sparring partner.

In a video captured by Olympic bronze medalist Eumir Marcial, Ancajas had his sparring partner backed on a corner seemingly taking it easy in round two.

A left straight to the mid-section had his dance partner hurt. Ancajas backed away, then proceeded with the session with an overhand left that sent his guy crashing to the rope.

The opposing corner reacted by throwing a bottle of water at Ancajas, drawing him to the ropes and his coach and manager Joven Jimenez into the ring.

Jimenez was heard on the video shouting, "Don't throw like that!" Thankfully, cooler heads prevailed and the situation died down soon after.

In a separate vlog, Ancajas revealed he took it easy on his sparring partner when he hurt him in the body only to be mocked in return. He also said the corner cursed him after landing the punch.
