John Riel Casimero arrives in UK for next title defense

Reigning WBO world bantamweight champion John Riel Casimero has arrived in the United Kingdom for his upcoming title defense against Paul Butler.

The 33-year-old Casimero is slated to face the hometown favorite Butler on April 22 at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England.

“Welcome back United Kingdom,” Casimero wrote on his Facebook.

The Ormoc City native, 31-4 with 21 knockouts as a pro, last saw action in August when he defeated Guillermo Rigondeaux by way of split decision.
