Pinoy boxer All Rivera being held in California jail on battery and abuse charges
Filipino boxer All Rivera is being held at the Santa Rita Jail in California for charges of battery and elder or dependent adult abuse.
The county of Alameda website showed that Rivera was arrested on April 7 at 1:38 AM in San Leandro, California.
According to a source, Rivera was brought to a psychiatric facility after his housemates noticed a change of behavior from the boxer supposedly because of depression.
While in the facility, Rivera was said to have caused a disturbance and resisted arrest when police officers came to the scene.
The presiding judge had set Rivera’s bail amount to $45,000 or roughly P2.35 million and is scheduled for a disposition hearing on May 2 at the Wiley W Manuel Courthouse in Oakland.
Rivera, 22-5 with 18 knockouts as a professional boxer, last saw action in June 2021 against Omar Juarez where he won via majority decision.
