Eumir Marcial advances to gold medal match in Hanoi SEA Games

Olympian boxer Eumir Marcial will advance to the gold medal match of the men's 69kg-75kg event in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Marcial advanced as he defeated Thailand's Peerapat Yeasungnoen, 5-0 on Thursday.

Aside from Marcial, Rogen Ladon will also advance as he defeated Thanarat Saengphet of Thailand, 4-1.

Meanwhile, James Palicte, Josie Gabuco, and Riza Pasuit lost their respective matches.

Olympic silver medalist Nesthy Petecio, fellow Olympian Irish Magno, Ian Clark Bautista and Marjon Planar will see action on Friday.
