Jimuel Pacquiao wins in sixth amateur bout as mom Jinkee watches ringside

Coming off a loss last June, Emmanuel "Jimuel" Pacquiao, Jr. bounced back and won another one of his amateur fights, this time against Dylan Merriken.

"I just want to get better and better each time," Jimuel said on Chino Trinidad's report on 24 Oras, Friday. "Coach Marvin [Somodio] kept telling me, over time, eventually you're gonna get more relaxed in there."

However, the win was a special one as his mom Jinkee was watching ringside for the first time.

"Nagdadalawang-isip pa ako na manood or dito na lang ako sa labas, makibalita na lang ako," a nervous Jinkee said. "Feeling ko mas gusto niya na nandoon din ako, maging strong din ako para sa kanya."

Apparently, Jimuel himself was nervous too since his mom was watching.

"I was really nervous because I don't want to disappoint her. It's her first time and I'm glad I got the win." he said.
