Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva announced for October

Jake Paul has found a decorated opponent for his next bout as he is slated to face former UFC middleweight world champion Anderson Silva on October 29 at Gila River Arena in Arizona, USA.

Paul, 5-0 with 4 knockouts as a professional boxer, is coming off back-to-back wins over ex-UFC welterweight world champion Tyron Woodley.

The 47-year-old Silva, meanwhile, retired from mixed martial arts last year after winning just 1 of his last 9 fights inside the octagon.

Touted by many as the greatest of all time in MMA, Silva made the transition to professional boxing after his retirement and holds a record of 3-1 with 2 knockouts thus far.
