Vincent Astrolabio showcases form and conditioning in media workout

Filipino boxer Vincent Astrolabio looked sharp and ready ahead of his showdown with WBC world bantamweight champion Junto Nakatani on July 20 at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan.

Astrolabio, 19-4 with 14 knockouts as a professional boxer, arrived in The Land of the Rising Sun the previous day with his team and held a media workout earlier today at the renowned Teiken Boxing Gym in Tokyo.

The 27-year-old Astrolabio, who will be fighting for a world title for the second time in his career, demonstrated fast combinations and crisp punches as his chief trainer Nonoy Neri held the punch mitts in front of the local media.

Booked as an underdog against the current pound-for-pound no.10 Nakatani (27-0, 20KOs), Astrolabio is looking to pull off a major upset when he takes on the local favorite in hostile territory.
