Aira Villegas bags bronze after semis loss in Paris Olympics

Aira Villegas made a gallant stand but fell short against Turkish boxer Buse Naz Cakiroglu in the semifinals of the 2024 Paris Olympics women's 50kg event held at the Roland Garros stadium on early Wednesday.

Despite the loss, Villegas still claimed bronze as a semis slot assured her already of an Olympic medal.
