Treasure Boxing boss sets sights on Kenneth Llover, boxer's camp responds

Filipino boxer Kenneth Llover prepares for fight in Japan

Treasure Boxing Promotion chairman Masayuki Ito is bent on working with unbeaten Filipino prospect Kenneth Llover.

Llover, a young prospect with a perfect record of 14-0 with 9 knockouts, is coming off a first-round stoppage over Japan's Keita Kurihara last month where he captured the OPBF bantamweight title.

"Right now my best interest is Kenneth Llover," Ito said in an exclusive interview.

Llover's last two fights were held in Japan, and he won both by technical knockout, catching the eye of the ex-world champ Ito.

Meanwhile, Llover's promoter, former two-division world champion Gerry Penalosa, says he is open to sitting down with the Japanese promoter to iron out a deal.

"As Kenneth Llover's promoter, I will give him [Ito] the best deal, I am open to co-promote with anyone. I just have to see the plan," Penalosa told GMA News Online.
