The UE center only scored two points in the Warriors’ 73-61 win over FEU but his putback off a James Martinez missed layup gave his team a 63-54 cushion in the final two minutes of the game. Espiritu’s defense more than made up for low his scoring output teaming up with Narciso Llagas and Hans Thiele to limit FEU’s big men.
