X-Tour fires off in Davao City on Nov. 7-9

DAVAO CITY, Philippines - The "X-Tour", an outdoor event, will kick in Davao City on November 7 to 9 at the Victoria Plaza Mall car park. Heathcliff Riego de Dios of the organizing Tribu Outdoors said Thursday that the tour will also have legs at the Lim Ket Kai Shopping Center in Cagayan de Oro on November 14 to 16 and at the SM Mall in Cebu City on November 21 to 23. "We will have a winchboarding, a revolution of wake skating and wakeboarding, twin tower wall assault, a combination of wall climbing, tyrolean traverse and rappelling, a skate park-skateboarding exhibition with ramps and rails," de Dios told members of the Davao Sportsrwriters Association (DSA) during their weekly forum at the Tower Inn. He said winchboarding is a first to be done in the country, as it will be held in a 150X30 feet portable pool. Tribu and Henyo, a management consultancy and events organizing company, are co-presenters of the tour. "This tour just shows that Tribu is not just all about sandals and apparel.
