Twitter abuzz with Pacquiao win

MANILA, Philippines - Twitter, the micro blogging site, was abuzz on Sunday after Manny Pacquiao defeated Ricky Hatton of Britain in their Las Vegas fight. Pacquiao sent Hatton down twice in the first round twice then dropped the Briton again in the second round, forcing the referee Kenny Bayless to stop the fight held at the MGM Grand. Trending topics in the site include PacMan, Pac-Man, Manny Pacquiao, Ricky Hatton, Mayweather, with most of the Tweets expressing their satisfaction with the way Pacquio beat the Briton. A Tweeter who goes by the username ackstephens wrote "Hands down son! HANDS DOWN! MANNY PACQUIAO is THE dominant person in boxing!!! Hatton was kissing the canvas the entire fight! NO REMORSE." Many, especially those who are rooting for Hatton, were surprised. One of those is kitty_wong, who wrote "Manny Pacquiao, 2 ROUNDS? Are you kidding me?" Another mini-blogger, morristhebear said that he lost a few pounds because of Pacquiao victory but was impressed with how Pacman won. "£10.00 lost due to the Hatton - Pacquiao fight, but a sense of something awesome to come. Manny Pacquiao has impressed me so much." Another Tweeter, rondelima, was also surprised. He was rooting for Pacquiao but just could not believe that he can bring the Hitman in two rounds. "I was dead wrong that Manny Pacquiao will win by KO at 8. He did it in 2. Mabuhay si Manny, Mabuhay ang Pilipino, Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!!!" Even Pacquiao's mother, Aling Dionisia, was mentioned. Tweeter godwinanthony said "Mabuhay si Aling Dionisia." Another Tweeter added Aling Dionisia turned out to be the lucky charm of Manny.
