Ronald Tubid is now a Gin King
Air 21 agreed to let go of its fiery point guard in exchange for Barangay Ginebra's three future draft picks Monday. The Express gained Ginebra's second round picks in 2007 and 2008 and a first round pick in 2009 in letting go of Ronald Tubid, the former UE Warriors star who averages 10.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.67 assists, 1.17 steals, 1.33 blocked shots, and 2.67 errors in his first six games in the current Talk N Text-PBA Philippine Cup. Ginebra expects Tubid to be the reliever of superstar Mark Caguioa. Tubid will play as a Gin King on Sunday when Barangay Ginebra meets defending champion Purefods Chunkee Giants.
