Llamados acquire Barroca in 5-player, 3-team trade

Mark Barroca hopes to strengthen B-MEG's point guard spot after the Smart-Gilas Pilipinas team member was acquired by the Llamados from Shopinas Tuesday. Barroca, the Shopinas Clickers' fifth pick in the recent PBA rookie draft, was part of a five-player, three-team deal that also involved Barako Bull. B-MEG sent forward Don Allado to Barako Bull (formerly Air21) as part of the deal with the Energy Boosters getting a future second-round pick from the Llamados. The Llamados also shipped Elmer Espiritu and Bryan Ilad to Shopinas (the former Barako team). The deal is still subject for the approval by PBA commissioner Atty. Chito Salud. - JVP, GMA News
